The Toyo Academy was founded in 2006 by Gayathri Krishnamurthy, a passionate educator who recognized the transformative power of the Abacus program. What started as a small initiative to teach Abacus soon grew into a movement, as parents witnessed remarkable improvements in their children’s cognitive abilities, confidence, and academic performance.
Even children with learning challenges thrived, often surpassing their peers. This success fueled Gayathri’s passion, and she built a dedicated team to expand her vision. Today, The Toyo Academy stands as a testament to her commitment to child development and innovative education.
